Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate banquet services or catering events as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes.
- Familiarity with POS systems to process orders accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and sales techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of catering services or banquet operations is a plus but not required.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
