What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Professional position at Vivian Vazquez?

Position Details:
- Location: In-office only
- Hours: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility
- Pay: $110k – $120k

What you get to do:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (multiple states)
- Assist with quarterly tax planning for businesses and individuals
- Review financial statements for tax return preparation
- Work closely with partners and staff, without supervisory duties to start (potential for growth)
- Communicate with taxing authorities as needed
What we need:
- CPA license required
- 5 years of experience in tax preparation (business, corporate, trust, partnership)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax preparation principles
- Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks, UltraTax a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a paperless work environment
