Installer

Summary:

The Concrete Grinding and Coatings Installer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of concrete grinding and coatings in accordance with company standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a construction background, strong work ethic, and/or a desire to learn new skills. Coatings include but not limited to garage floors, warehouse, patios, pool decks, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare concrete surfaces by grinding, scarifying, or shot blasting to remove laitance, coatings, or other contaminants
• Apply concrete coatings, sealers, or toppings using rollers, brushes, or spray equipment
• Ensure that coatings are applied evenly and according to manufacturer specifications
• Monitor the drying and curing process of coatings to ensure proper adhesion and performance
• Inspect installed coatings for defects and make necessary repairs
• Maintain and clean equipment used in the grinding and coating process
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in concrete grinding and coatings is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of various concrete grinding and coating techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards and specifications for concrete grinding and coatings
• Concrete and trowel application is plus but not requirement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in a dusty and noisy environment
• Must be able to work in confined spaces

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
