We are looking for a responsible Receiving Clerk to receive, inspect and record shipments of garments. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. The goal is to ensure we receive the correct quantity, style, and color of garments.

Position Details
Day Shift: 7:30am – 4pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime* $14.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
- Unload packages from incoming trucks.
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.).
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.

Work Environment
Most areas of our facility are not temperature-controlled and can be excessively hot/cold at times depending on the outside temperature. We operate out of three buildings, and going back and forth between these buildings is probable. During these occasions, there is exposure to the elements. There are fumes from inks and other industry-related chemicals. Proper PPE is available. There are some loud noises, but not excessively loud. Automatic, moving machines are present in various departments.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential functions in the work environment (outlined and defined above).
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- Must possess a keen eye for detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Experience as a receiving clerk or similar position is a bonus, but not required.
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
- Basic math and recording abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills
