The Opportunity:

The Business Analyst position provides a high-performing, analytically inclined individual the opportunity to own the KPI monitoring process at Vivid Seats, learn the business by working across multiple functional areas, and have close visibility with business leaders.
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- Effectively monitor key metrics alongside top daily events using available analytical tools and dashboards; identify analytical reporting and monitoring gaps so that team members can create additional reporting & dashboards to fill those gaps.
- You are a conversion expert. Develop a deep understanding of our purchase funnel and analyze conversion points throughout. Alert business partners and stakeholders when there are anomalies.
- Project manage from anomaly detection, to alerting, to driving information and answers from business partners. You may not know all the answers yourself, but you are not afraid to ask the appropriate person to dig in further and get the answers needed.
- Work independently while managing and meeting competing deliverables, keeping stakeholders informed on timelines and setting expectations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful.
- Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you’ll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
- Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values.
- Understand all relevant data sources and tools we use including Looker, Snowflake data sources and Google Analytics.
- Develop a systematic approach and written process check list for daily & weekly monitoring.
- You are sending daily performance emails with retrospective synopsis on the prior day / week to senior leadership and other business stakeholders.
- You are proactively flagging areas of concern, providing next steps, updates and driving towards answers and resolution.
- Contribute to our approaches, methods, or technologies to support overall business goals and drive team efficiencies.
- Independently oversee day-to-day reporting and proactively providing data and insights to stakeholders.
- Are developing strong relationships and partnerships with key business partners.
- Apply methods to execute individual tasks that positively impacts the team.
- Identify additional areas of improvement for robust alert monitoring and work with team members to get those data sources and reporting mechanism in place.
- Anticipate downstream impacts for changes, make necessary adjustments and proactively communicate to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical field
- High aptitude for learning on the job quickly
- You are outgoing, not afraid to ask people to do things, and willing to follow-up as needed
- Ability to tackle issues with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner
- Self-motivated with excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Natural sense of curiosity and high level of interest in sports & live entertainment
- Experience with web analytic tools (Adobe or Google Analytics) and BI visualization tools (for example, Looker, Tableau Power BI) a strong plus
