Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Associate to join our cannabis manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring cannabis products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for distribution in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment and machinery to package various cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis-derived products.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications for weight, appearance, and packaging integrity.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and product tracking in compliance with state seed-to-sale requirements.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools according to GMP standards
- Follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes
- Inspect packaging materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies
- Label products accurately with the required information, including batch numbers, dates, and compliance labels
- Maintain an organized workflow to meet daily production goals
- Document all packaging activities in required logs and tracking systems
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state badges/permits for cannabis industry work / Background Check -$75.00 / Fingerprint - $43.00
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass required background checks
Physical Requirements
- Stand/walk for extended periods (8 hours per shift)
- Repetitive bending, stretching, and reaching
- Manual dexterity for operating packaging equipment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Work in various environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled rooms
Work Environment
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting

Schedule
