Vivid Technology is partnered with a global leader of wireless services. Our client are pioneers in satellite-direct-to-standard-phone (sat2phone) technology and hold the world’s only commercial license from the FCC to operate a commercial sat2phone system. There service enables mobile network operators (MNOs) to provide text messaging connectivity via satellites to standard, unmodified mobile devices.
There mission is to ensure everyone on the planet—over 8 billion people—can stay connected using the phones they already have, no matter where they are.
Due to continued success our client is looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical background in mobile wireless core networks (GSM, LTE, 5G) and network interoperability (roaming and interconnects). Experience with 3GPP NTN standards is highly desirable.
In this role, you’ll translate customer needs into technical requirements, guide product development, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions. Your work will help build an application layer software stack, enabling MNOs to seamlessly reconfigure and customize networks via a self-serve API.
Key Responsibilities :
- Translate customer business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Work closely with Business Development, Technical Account Managers, and Engineering teams to deliver services.
- Share technical insights about core network architecture with MNO partners and gather feedback.
- Drive product development, focusing on both core network and RAN products.
- Develop and execute end-to-end test plans and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Analyze customer-reported problems, perform root cause analysis, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Travel up to 25% may be required
