As a Field Dispatcher / Scheduler you will sit at the heart of the company, working directly with customers and technicians to coordinate Smart Home installations, inspections, and service calls for Vivint customers. You will work closely with field managers and technicians to optimize scheduling and increase the efficiency of our field teams. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Dispatching, monitoring and following up on the progress of our field technicians to ensure completion of their scheduled work
- Utilization of emails, text messages and other communicative tools to help efficiently route technicians and other resources throughout the day
- Answer incoming calls from customers and field technicians concerning appointments, schedule changes, or other scheduling/dispatch related questions
- Inquiring with responsible parties to schedule installations and service calls in our dispatching software
- Accurately document and update records in required software
- Maintain diplomacy when addressing escalated matters
Required Experience:
- Age: 18
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to get licensed for the Utah Burglar Alarm Systems
- Ability to successfully pass background check
- Passion for providing quality customer service
- Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to multi-task while using different internal programs
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work in a team-fostered environment
Preferred Experience:
- Previous Dispatch/Scheduling experience is a plus
- Previous Call Center experience is a plus
- Demonstrated strong familiarity of Microsoft Windows
