What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor tech position at Vivo Healthcare University?
The floor technician performs routine floor care, including but not limited to scrubbing, refinishing and buffering of floor surfaces.
After intial training on the job, the employee is responsible for following standard procedures in maintaining an assigned area.
Duties are performed under direct supervision and subject to inspection by the director of environmental services.
- Maintain all floors
- Empties trash as specified workflow
- Insures that all entrance ways are clean and that they are maintained
- follows cleaning procedures in a safe manner
- completes all assignments as scheduled
- maintains equipment in good working conditions and returns it to the proper storage location after use
- follows center policies and procedures
- performs other duties as requested
- This position requires that you are able to read,write,speak and understand the spoken english language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and vistors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
