What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Coordinator position at Vivo HealthStaff?
POSITION SUMMARY : Under the direction and supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that Transportation requests and driver schedules are implemented.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develops a daily schedule for each driver for all transportation needs of participants, meal deliveries, staff, deliveries of supplies, and pickups.
- Assigns Senior Drivers, Drivers and On Call Drivers to the vehicles and routes. Problem solves with staff to ensure timely pick up and drop off.
- Ensures that all guidelines as described in the Transportation section of the policy manual and the transportation department operations manual are properly followed.
- Coordinates transportation services to requesters as needed.
- Serves as liaison to IDT for receiving information about prt, status and communicates with transportation staff.
- Identifies training needs of staff and assists in coordination of training calendar.
- Investigates all reported incidents and accidents involving the transportation department.
- All other reasonably related jobs as assigned.
