Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and machinery.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and scheduling preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist with mechanical repairs and installations.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Provide leadership in maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist with training new staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
- Solid mechanical skills with experience in facilities maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Good communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Leadership experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations related to maintenance work.
