Role Overview: You will be responsible for responding to customer requests for compliance documentation, maintaining compliance document sharing platforms, and other tasks as requested by the Quality Assurance (QA) team. You will also need to maintain all quality documents in accordance with regulatory body requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate documentation with our customer service team for compliance in a timely manner
- Maintain records of employee training for job specific need across several positions
- Upload documents onto different shared platforms
- Maintain the supplier approval program and documentation
- Work with food safety and quality team on performing internal audits
- Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as requested by our QA department
- Ensure that updated SOPs are distributed to relevant departments and employees are trained accordingly
- Review, verify and scan quality records
- Maintain quality registers and other quality matrices
- Assist the QA team and other managerial roles when requested to ensure the successful implementation of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program and all other regulatory requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience with quality assurance in food manufacturing valued but not required
- Experience with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is valued but not required
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification or ability to attain certification
- Ability to act as a strong independent and key team player
- Strong attention to detail, data entry, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong ability to multitask in order to address different projects congruently
Expected Scheduling: Weekdays, 8am-4:30pm
