Role Overview: You will work on a team that is responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment. In this position you will receive orders, formulate products for production, and communicate with customers to update them on order progress among other tasks, all to ensure timely delivery of customer’s orders. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in laboratory skills mentioned below and grow into a technical position, if desired.
Responsibilities
- Confirm and process customer’s orders
- Formulate and create probiotic batch records for production
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely shipment and delivery of orders
- Respond to customer’s inquiries and concerns quickly and appropriately
- Receive and traffic customer complaints to full resolution
- Maintain inventory databases with high accuracy
- Assist in review of quality control results
- Aid in creation and revision of Certificates of Analysis and Specification Sheets
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Maintain high attention to detail while multitasking
- Work in accordance with all company policies; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
- Exhibit ability to cross-train in laboratory tasks (gram staining, dilution plating, strain isolation, etc.)
- Fulfill any additional requests from supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associate degree or higher degree in Life or Food Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Processing/Engineering is valued but not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with customer service is valued but not required
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Capabilities to act as a strong independent and key team player
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
- Good work ethic and enthusiastic learner
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Advanced multitasking abilities in order to address different projects congruently
- Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
Expected Scheduling: Weekdays, 8am-4:30pm
