Hybrid—Monday and Wednesday in office in Morristown, NJ
The Temporary Lawyer will provide general legal services at an exciting global company with a U.S. offices located in New Jersey, in support of ***’s Cell & Gene Technologies (“CGT”) platform, which advances the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of cell and gene therapy products for ***’s biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers.
- The attorney in this role will work closely with all business functions within the CGT platform and actively support the CGT team in achieving business objectives.
- The attorney will also be expected to demonstrate strategic value and competence in applying legal skills to daily corporate, business, compliance and other matters.
- In particular, the Temporary Lawyer will drive the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements in support of the CGT platform, including, for example, manufacturing services agreements and related statements of work, process development and other services agreements, pharmaceutical quality agreements, and others. This attorney will also provide day-to-day legal advice for the CGT platform on matters involving operational, transactional, quality, and marketing issues.
- In this role, the Temporary Lawyer will be a key contributor to the *** Legal team, supporting the legal team members responsible for the CGT platform and reporting to a Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel.
- Provide high-quality, competent, and timely legal review, advice, and support on a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracting, licensing, pharmaceutical quality agreements, review of marketing materials, and general corporate matters for ***’s CGT platform.
Requirements:
- JD - At least three years of general commercial transactional / contracting experience at an Am Law 200 law firm as well as corporate in-house legal department experience.
- Life sciences/ pharmaceutical background would be advantageous.
Salary : $55 - $65
