About the role:
We are seeking a Data Visualization Specialist with experience in the federal space to develop and optimize interactive, data-driven visual solutions for mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with both COTS and custom-built visualization tools, delivering insights through intuitive dashboards, reports, and user interfaces.
This role requires expertise in enterprise data visualization platforms such as Qlik and SAP Lumira, as well as custom development using D3.js, HTML, and JavaScript. Candidates should be comfortable working in agile, iterative environments, collaborating with stakeholders to refine visualization strategies for federal mission objectives.
\n- Design and develop data visualizations to transform complex federal datasets into intuitive, interactive, and actionable insights.
- Leverage both COTS and custom visualization frameworks to build enterprise-level dashboards and reports.
- Develop and implement dynamic visualizations for federal mission objectives, ensuring usability and accessibility.
- Work iteratively with federal stakeholders and business teams to gather requirements and refine data solutions using agile methodologies.
- Develop custom visualizations using D3.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for specialized reporting needs.
- Utilize COTS enterprise visualization tools such as Qlik, SAP Lumira, and others to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
- Build medium-complexity queries and stored procedures to support dynamic data visualizations.
- Develop data visualizations against ERP transactional and analytical data models, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and UI/UX design.
- Strong expertise in COTS enterprise data visualization tools (Qlik, SAP Lumira, or similar platforms).
- Experience developing custom data visualizations using D3.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to work iteratively with federal agencies and stakeholders to refine visualization requirements.
- Experience developing data visualizations against ERP transactional and analytical data models.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write medium-complexity queries and stored procedures.
- Understanding of federal compliance requirements for data security and governance.
