Job Summary:
The Pricing & Financial Analyst will play a critical role in developing cost proposals, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with federal contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS). This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to develop competitive and compliant pricing strategies.
\n- Develop detailed pricing models and cost estimates for government contracts, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
- Support proposal efforts, including Basis of Estimate (BOE) development, cost narratives, and competitive pricing analysis.
- Work with capture teams, proposal managers, and technical leads to develop cost-effective and winning pricing strategies.
- Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Analyze indirect rates, escalation factors, and labor category mappings to optimize pricing structures.
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership by analyzing pricing trends, contract profitability, and market competitiveness.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, indirect rate forecasting, and budgeting for contract performance.
- Support audits, cost certifications, and DCAA/DCMA compliance reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or government contracting.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, lookups) and experience with pricing tools (ProPricer preferred).
- Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government procurement regulations.
- Experience with GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract types.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience working in a GovCon company ($5M-$100M revenue range).
- Knowledge of Unanet ERP systems.
- Experience supporting DCAA/DCMA audits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for pricing justifications and cost narratives.
