These factories deliver AI / ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain, and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare, and Civilian Agencies Job Summary : The Senior-Level Information Systems Engineer provides expert-level support in creating, sustaining, modernizing, and integrating enterprise-wide compute, storage, and backup solutions. This role leverages new techniques and software-defined approaches for Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS / PaaS) structure. The engineer will manage and operate data processing, storage, and backup systems to support DOD infrastructure, business processes, and operations. Key Responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide compute, storage, and backup solutions using IaaS / PaaS structures. Utilize software-defined approaches to optimize infrastructure performance and efficiency. Manage and operate data processing, storage, and backup systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to information systems. Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in information systems engineering. Skills / Qualifications Requirement : Clearance requirement : Active TS SCI. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience or a master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Senior-level expertise in computing, storage, and backup solutions. Proficiency in software-defined infrastructure and IaaS / PaaS structures. Strong knowledge of data processing, storage, and backup systems. Experience with tools and technologies supporting the management and operations of these systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be willing to obtain the required DoD-D 8140 Cyber Workforce certification within 6 months of notification. Place of Performance : Onsite 5 days a week at Omaha, Nebraska Airforce base. Certification : An active intermediate or higher technical certification (i.e. : CompTIA Server , International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP), Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Certified Storage Networking Expert, or similar Information Systems Engineering certification) is required.
