These factories deliver AI / ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain, and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare, and Civilian Agencies Job Summary : The Senior-Level Server Operating System Engineer is responsible for creating, sustaining, modernizing, and integrating enterprise-wide server architectures. This role requires expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later, Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later, and Linux-variant appliances. The engineer will use current automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment to achieve IaaS & PaaS capabilities. Key Responsibilities : Create, sustain, modernize, and integrate enterprise-wide server architectures. Work with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later, Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later, and Linux-variant appliances. Implement automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment. Manage Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), DNS integration, and MFA integration. Troubleshoot and resolve complex server operating system issues. Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of server environments. Stay current with industry trends and emerging server operating system technologies. Skills / Qualifications Requirement : Clearance Requirement : Active TS SCI. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience or a master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Senior-level expertise in server operating systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later, Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later, and Linux-variant appliances. Experience with automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment. Proficiency in Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), DNS integration, and MFA integration. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be willing to obtain the required DoD-D 8140 Cyber Workforce certification within 6 months of notification. Place of Performance : Onsite 5 days a week at Omaha, Nebraska Airforce base.
