Position Overview : We are seeking a
Senior FPGA Engineer
with expertise in Advanced eXtensible Interface (AXI), Dynamic Partial Reconfiguration (DPR), and extensive experience across various FPGA platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of FPGA architecture, automation of bitstream manipulation, and a commitment to driving innovation. As a key member of our team, you’ll shape cutting-edge solutions and help push the boundaries of autonomous technology.
Key Responsibilities :
FPGA Design and Implementation :
Develop and implement FPGA designs for new products or improvements upon existing systems, primarily using VHDL and Verilog.
Employ DPR technology to enable runtime reconfiguration, enhancing system performance and versatility.
Collaborate with software teams to integrate these tools into broader development and deployment cycles.
Performance Optimization :
Evaluate the performance of FPGA configurations to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPGA designs and configurations.
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, providing FPGA expertise to concurrent projects.
Effectively communicate technical considerations to stakeholders and non-technical team members.
Create detailed documentation for designs, development, and testing procedures, ensuring future reference and compliance with industry standards.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding product development, safety standards, and design documentation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4 years of work experience in FPGA design and development, including expertise with DPR.
Expertise in VHDL and Verilog, with a robust portfolio demonstrating practical application in FPGA design.
Proficiency with FPGA design tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus) and experience in automation scripting languages (Python, Tcl, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in automating bitstream manipulation and familiarity with various FPGA platforms (Xilinx, Intel, etc.).
Comprehensive understanding of FPGA integration with broader hardware and software ecosystems.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, presenting clear, innovative solutions.
Excellent team collaboration skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional communication and cooperation.
