Viwinco is currently seeking a Line 1 Team Leader to join our team! This role is essential in driving operational excellence, ensuring production aligns with our Core Tenets and Viwinco Production System. The Team Lead will play a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure production processes align with Viwinco’s standards and best practices.
- Oversee daily operations, address safety and quality concerns, and manage workflow.
- Train new employees and facilitate cross-training initiatives.
- Conduct process audits, maintain organization, and ensure adherence to 5S principles.
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality teams, and production staff to resolve issues and improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Strong leadership, training, and coaching skills.
- Experience with Standard Work, 5S, and process auditing.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in reading tape measures and using hand tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple roles.
