Viwinco, Inc, a manufacturer of custom-made, high-performance, beautiful windows and patio doors, is seeking hard-working, dedicated and reliable 1st shift Production Workers to work at our Morgantown, PA headquarters. You will work within different areas of our production line which include, but not limited to assembling windows and patio doors, operate machinery when needed, ensure production standards are met, finalize products and prepare them for shipping.
We have an exciting opportunity for an 1st shift Pro-Lamination Assembler to come and be part of a successful and growing window and door manufacturing company.
Compensation: $19.00/hr
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (must be reliable); overtime and Saturdays occasionally required.
Responsibilities:
- Produce colored vinyl lineals to meet production targets.
- Operate Profile Lamination machine and perform equipment setup for various profiles.
- Cut lamination to size for various profiles.
- Follow production guidelines and specifications.
- Monitor the line and remove faulty products.
- Communicate with Lead and Materials warehouse for inventory management.
- Load material to lamination machine from vinyl racks to feed the process.
- Remove completed material from lamination machine.
- Move full racks of material by hand using dollies.
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Following health and safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean workstation and production floor.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to understand direction.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Stand for a long period of time.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Steel-toed shoes required (up to a $75 reimbursed once hired).
- Must be reliable.
