What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Vizance?
We are looking for an Accountant to be involved in the day-to-day accounting activities in our Hartland office. This position will work closely with our Controller and Accounting team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT VIZANCE
-Meet financial accounting objectives
-Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
-Participate in the daily operations of the Accounting Department including:
- Processing Payroll
- Month and year-end process
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Bank account statement reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and assist in the production of the financials
- Utilize proper accounting methods, policies and principles
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO VIZANCE
- Experience processing payroll and subsequent general ledger entry
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability and willingness to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Insurance agency experience and/or Applied Epic software (would be a plus)

Salary : $53,900 - $68,200
