Summary:
In this role, you will independently manage cross-functional teams and resources to deliver high-quality pharmacy-related projects. Using proven project management practices, you will ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
You will drive participation and accountability for pharmacy advisory initiatives and enterprise-level projects, including clinical, technology implementation, and process improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
Experience leading projects in spend management, procurement, or financial optimization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure accuracy and quality in planning, execution, and reporting.
Implement standard practices for consistency and efficiency.
Engage and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; adept at learning new project management tools.
Proficient in Kantata or similar platforms.
Manage competing priorities while delivering projects on time and within scope.
Familiarity with pharmacy operations, healthcare workflows, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
2 or more years relevant experience with a GPO, healthcare provider, or distributor/manufacturer required.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle required.
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in strategic services and market expansion preferred.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
