About the Team :
Vizio is looking for a Head of Data Science to manage mathematical modeling, experimentation, and analytics across the enterprise. We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage teams performing non-commoditized data work. The position can be held in one of several offices (Denver, Los Angeles, New York).
What You Will Do :
- Lead the Data Science organization with vision and empathy.
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Manage teams that develop and write algorithms for use in production.
- Mentor senior team members.
- Strategically investigate emerging technologies and their applications.
- Evangelize Data Science across the organization.
- Use data to inform product strategy.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
