Senior Manager, Data Scientist

About the Team

The VIZIO Advertising, Technology, and Innovation team is looking for a highly talented and motivated Data Scientist to help build advertising technology products. We are looking for a dynamic employee to perform non-commoditized data work. The position can be held in one of several offices (San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, New York).

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders across Vizio and Walmart divisions.
• Lead the technical direction for model assessments, validation, deployment, and scaling, ensuring that the right methodologies are used and align with long-term business goals.
• Provide oversight to ensure the technical quality of data science projects, helping to identify the best approaches and ensure the correct application of machine learning techniques.
• Mentor other data scientists, helping them understand and apply the right scientific and technical methods.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, continuously applying new scientific insights and methods to improve existing solutions.
