Senior Manager Creative Services

About the Team

VIZIO is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Manager of Creative Services to support our brand, retail and media marketing efforts in our Irvine Headquarters office. We are a fast-paced team looking for someone who excels at partnering with multiple internal stakeholders to drive consensus and deliver results.

The Senior Manager will collaborate cross-functionally in the development and creation of marketing materials that support corporate branding efforts, as well as the presentation and sales of VIZIO products, including line-up of Smart TVs and SoundBars, our VIZIO Home operating system and entertainment experience, and associated advertising inventory and capabilities. This is both a strategic and a support role that involves both B2B and B2C branding, marketing, and content development– ensuring external and internal customers are supported by and presented with world class marketing materials that help them pitch and understand the value of VIZIO’s best-in-class devices and award-winning VIZIO Home operating system.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage the Creative Services team, operate as the primary liaison between Creative Services and the Sales, Merchandising, Ad Sales and Product Marketing teams, as well as an authority on all brand and aesthetic guidelines related to the VIZIO value proposition. The Senior Manager will support marketing efforts that span the full customer funnel and develop go-to-market launch materials for key product features, UX capabilities and content initiatives.

What You Will Do

• You will provide leadership to drive the creative vision and quality of our corporate brand identity.
• You are adept at both managing production design as well as driving conceptual creative executions.
• You will provide leadership to drive the creative vision and quality of our corporate brand identity.
• You will own and drive the creative and design vision of our brand and marketing channels and materials, including web, social, electronic collateral, print, retail and device packaging.
• You will mentor and coach the Creative Services team to achieve optimal output.
• You will create, optimize, and manage the creative production pipeline across the organization.
• You will work with agency partners and external vendors to support and enhance creative needs and output.
• You will work with the internal stakeholders to coordinate asset development and delivery across the organization.
• You will lead and manage the Creative Services team, as well as agency partners, in the development and creation of corporate design.
• You will oversee creative hiring, development and resourcing.

About You

• You have at least 8 years experience as a Creative manager. managing a design team.
• You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – with experience in presenting to all levels, including senior executives, both internally and externally.
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite. Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma.
• Extensive knowledge of digital display, video, paid social and web site technologies, development methods and user experience. Experience with a broad range of printing techniques, including retail packaging.
• You have an excellent eye for detail and art quality, including lighting, composition, colors, and staging.
• You have a strong track record of ability to scope work, set project deadlines and deliver on time.
• You possess the ability to tackle multiple projects at once, synthesizing each project goal and objective, and laying out a strategic plan to tackle each one while effectively monitoring progress and key milestones.
• You possess strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence teams and individuals as well as effectively leverage and utilize resources and relationships for optimal results.
• You have distinctive problem-solving and strategic-thinking.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• You have a strong online portfolio and project examples with your latest work.

For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $108,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $216,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
