Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in civil litigation matters from initiation through resolution, including trials and appeals.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategy and provide clients with informed legal advice.
- Manage case files and coordinate with clients, experts, and other professionals involved in litigation.
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
- Prepare and argue motions in court, and represent clients in hearings and trials.
- Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case developments and advise on strategy.
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and other team members to strategize and achieve client objectives.
- Keep up-to-date with legal trends and developments in civil litigation.
