Role: Manual Tester
Location: Framingham, MA
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, smart and focused, exploratory tests based on high-risk areas.
- Assist in writing and performing manual test plans and related test cases.
- Verifying features and improvements using white and black box methodologies; with emphasis on debugging and identifying the root cause of issues.
Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven capability to comprehend large scale system architecture and understand how they work and fail.
- Familiar with functional API testing.
- Shown understanding of operating system fundamentals, software test engineering principles, tools, techniques, and execution with an emphasis on manual execution.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
- Experience working with embedded consumer embedded products
- Commanding tools BlueSuite, Wireshark, Cygwin
- Basic understanding of Bluetooth 2.1 and 4.0
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related equivalent degree, or proven track record in software Quality Assurance.
