About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled MES Engineer to join our team. The MES Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support manufacturing operations and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MES solutions, industrial automation, and integration with ERP and shop floor control systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations.

Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial automation systems.

Develop and maintain MES workflows, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces.

Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Collaborate with IT, production, and quality teams to optimize MES functionality.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and user manuals.

Train and support end-users on MES functionalities and best practices.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MES engineering or related roles.

Strong knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, Werum PAS-X, or equivalent).

Experience with PLC, SCADA, and IoT integration.

Familiarity with SQL databases, scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar), and API integrations.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in pharmaceutical, automotive, semiconductor, or food & beverage industries.

Understanding of GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or ISO 9001 compliance.

Certification in MES-related platforms or industrial automation.
