About the Position :
Our Medical Group Internal Medicine – Douglassville is seeking a full-time, Board Eligible / Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established and supportive ambulatory team. This role offers a unique blend of clinical care and educational responsibilities, including the opportunity to teach residents, with a typical preceptorship of 2 to 3 residents. Additionally, you will be allocated one half-day per week exclusively for your own patient appointments, allowing you to balance mentorship with dedicated patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered internal medicine care in an outpatient setting.
- Serve as a preceptor to residents (2–3 on average), offering guidance, instruction, and leadership.
- Conduct one half-day of personal patient appointments per week.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team, including MAs, PSRs, RN, and a supportive practice administrator.
- Utilize DAX Copilot (AI-enabled scribing) to enhance clinical efficiency.
- Participate in a shared call schedule designed to support work-life balance.
- Play an active role in maintaining a well-established patient panel.
