Position Summary
As the Maintenance Supervisor Utilities / Crane Repair , you will provide leadership and direction to a dedicated crew in an ABS (Alcoa Business System) environment. Reporting to the Area Technical Leader , this role is responsible for ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and reliable delivery performance in both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. You will oversee 12-hour shifts , rotating between day and night shifts every work cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing clear goals, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
- Maintenance & Repair : Oversee daily maintenance tasks involving mechanical utilities and crane repair , minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.
- Safety & Compliance : Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all company protocols and regulatory standards; ensure proper use of safety equipment and procedures.
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Lead root-cause analysis efforts for equipment malfunctions; implement solutions that address both immediate issues and long-term preventative measures.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement best practices to enhance maintenance processes; drive initiatives in line with ABS principles.
- Resource Management : Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and manpower to execute cost-effective, customer-centric maintenance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Area Technical Leader, production team, and other stakeholders to meet key business objectives and maintain high-quality standards.
