Job Title: Retail Android Engineer-
Location: Hybrid in RI*- Providence, RI
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 month initial contract
W2 role
Job Description
Must-Have Skills:
8 years of Android programming.
2 years in a leadership position giving daily direction and helping to coordinate onshore/ offshore teams.
Excellent debugging skills, including experience with ADB commands.
Proficiency in Kotlin.
Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVP.
Working knowledge of RX Java.
Familiarity with DI frameworks like Dagger 2 or Hilt.
Hands-on experience with Room or Realm databases.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Xamarin, Ionic, or React Native.
Strong sense of UI/UX design principles.
Familiarity with Linux environments and Docker.
