Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Project manager at VM Iron Works. The PM will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals field.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals
- Knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and spreadsheets including Tekla & Bluebeam
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
