">Job Description:
">We are seeking a Senior Associate who is creative, collaborative, and has a strong work ethic to lead communications programs for clients in the education and public affairs sectors.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Lead communications programs to support clients' brands and initiatives using diverse platforms.
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
- Create content for press releases, media advisories, features, brochures, and video scripts.
- Craft talking points, speeches, and web content.
- Use photography/videography/social media to tell a story and/or support overall communications programs.
- Research and data entry.
- Coordination and collaboration with clients, sources, and other team members.
- Functioning as a liaison to current and prospective clients.
- Attending and supporting meetings, open houses, and community events.
Requirements:
">- At least two years' experience leading clients in a communications-related field preferred.
- Experience in current and emerging communications strategies and tactics.
- Ability to communicate key messages and narratives utilizing expertise with press releases, written collateral, social media, photo, web and/or video.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organization, and ability to coordinate/collaborate with diverse work styles and personalities.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, PR, or related field.
- Computer skills, driver's license/car, comfort navigating Southern California streets/freeways/communities.
Work Environment:
">Hybrid part-time remote, part-time in our Claremont, CA office.
