Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases and applications, along with expertise in multi-cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
Relevant Experience : 8 years
Technical / Functional Skills Required :
Oracle DBA expertise
Microsoft Azure proficiency
Strong skills in automation, script writing, and debugging
Key Responsibilities :
Automate and manage scripts for database processes
Understand the benefits and challenges of multi-cloud strategies
Handle configuration management and environment variables
Tune Oracle databases and applications for optimal performance
Deploy Oracle workloads across multi-cloud environments
Implement error handling and logging in scripts
Work with Exadata, RAC, and patching of Oracle DBs
Integrate Oracle applications with WebLogic Server
Administer Oracle WebLogic Server for application needs
Upgrade Oracle Applications to R12.2.10 and beyond
Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for both Oracle and non-Oracle applications
Handle Oracle CPU and PSU patches
Support Oracle Database 19c Active Data Guard
Perform database upgrades, cloning, and automation tasks
Utilize Oracle Fusion Middleware for application development
Oversee Oracle Golden Gate, GRID, RMAN, DG, and EM
Implement security and identity management with Oracle FMW
Utilize tools like JIRA and ServiceNow for project management
Conduct shell scripting on Unix systems
