Your Impact to the Mission:
VMD has an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Software Architect working in our Arlington, VA office. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Leverage your passion to develop and maintain strong, functional, and efficient code across .NET platforms.
- Work on highly talented Agile team(s) within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), to define architecture, design, build and implement solutions, and support development of public-facing web applications.
- Provide technical knowledge, analysis, and troubleshooting of database applications and their production environments.
- Consult with customer and external contract teams to meet program and release goals.
- 5 (five) years of experience with design, development and testing web solutions, translate requirements into detailed technical designs; construct, test, maintain and support efficient, cost effective and reliable software through the full life cycle
- Core experience with C#, .NET, Core, JavaScript, CI/CD, Oracle, GitLab, Jenkins, Restful web services, Agile Scrum, PKI, Windows server and IIS.
- Understanding of React or Angular, SPA, USWDS, 508 Compliance, both security and development best practices
- Experience with Azure, AWS or Mobile
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience or certifications
- Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? Yes
- Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 5
- Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 5
- Minimum Clearance to Start: Interim Secret
- Work Status Allowable: US Citizenship
