Candidates with experience with Event Sales/Wedding Sales / Hotel Sales Preferred from Washington
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Plan and execute fundraising events, conferences, weddings, parties, and other special occasions
- Coordinate all aspects of events including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor
- Manage event budgets efficiently
- Implement event marketing strategies to attract attendees
- Arrange accommodations at hotels or restaurants for out-of-town guests
- Oversee banquet or catering services during events
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to event planning
- Familiarity with different event types and their specific requirements such as weddings, corporate events, or fundraisers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.79 - $31.11 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
