Candidates with experience with Event Sales/Wedding Sales / Hotel Preferred
Duties
- Assist in setting up and dismantling event spaces
- Provide support during events such as ushering guests and managing crowd flow
- Handle cash transactions at event venues
- Ensure the safety of guests, particularly children, by following established protocols
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with attendees and provide information about the event
- Manage food service stations and assist with serving guests
- Resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during events
Skills
- Experience in resort or theater environments is beneficial
- Previous experience working with children is a plus
- Lifeguard certification is advantageous
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Strong public speaking abilities
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively
- Knowledge of events management practices
- Familiarity with food service operations
- Exceptional customer service skills
