We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements for various occasions.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, and corsages
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers for their needs
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions
- Utilize e-commerce platforms for online orders
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and offering assistance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and store layout effectively
- Sales skills to promote products and increase revenue
- Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.39 - $20.12 per hour
