JOB SUMMARY
The Valuation Analyst will leverage VMG's proprietary software, FMV-MD®, to conduct fair market valuations, draft reports, analyze data, and manage client projects. They will also research industry trends, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and deliver high-quality, on-time results.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Process fair market valuations using FMV-MD® and Automation Station.
- Draft valuation reports, including data compilation and formatting.
- Conduct research on industry trends, regulatory updates, and compensation methodologies.
- Analyze statistical data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Manage client projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop valuation models and input data into proprietary software.
- Maintain organized workpapers and post-engagement files.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet project goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills:
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Experience with financial valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow models, and strong finance, valuation, and accounting knowledge (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other “power user” functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Required Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
