Job Description:
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing systems that may include hardware and software components.
- Advises customer on operation procedures and requirement of systems.
- Communicates effectively in person to assist and train customers and partners.
- Tests and verifies the functionality of the equipment installed for optimal performance.
- Document processes and complete required documentation such as SATs, Vocs, Trip, reports and expenses reports.
- Assistance with the set-up of customer demonstrations and exhibitions (i.e., trade shows).
- Supports customers either remotely or in the office via either email or phone with the goal of troubleshooting and solving customers’ requests, including but not limited to RMA processes.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
The work environment changes frequently depending on assignment. This position operates in a warehouse, office, outdoors, and in prison environments. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position is exposed to a warehouse environment where the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The work environment is exposed to warm, cold, rainy, snowy, and humid conditions. The work environment is also exposed to environments that are in a prison setting that must abide by rules and regulations of the prison.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, ladders; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 70 pounds.
Specific vision abilities are required by this position that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel is required 90% of the time. Must be available to CONUS, OCONUS and internationally. Overnight travel is required.
MUST HAVE:
- 2-3 years technical degree or apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical or military field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronic and mechanical fields.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Travel is required 90% of the time. Must be available to CONUS, OCONUS and internationally. Overnight travel is required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
- Ability to fly on commercial airlines.
- Follow maps/verbal driving directions.
- Drive up to a 26’ box truck.
