Summary
Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I is an individual contributor that delivers and set up inventory at customer’s designated sites. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods distribution against purchase orders or invoices, Responsible for transporting company cargo to customers. Conducts inventory task in accordance with local VMI processes. Follows proper guidelines for use of all equipment. Ensures equipment is clean, safe. Reports concerns to management team.
**PLEASE NOTE: While this is listed as a VMI position, the associate will NOT be driving a vehicle.**
-This position is closer to a Site Coordinator/VMI hybrid.
-Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm. Manager is flexible with start/end time, but it needs to be consistent and clearly communicated.
-Computer skills required. This position will largely focus on making orders, creating reqs, and purchase orders in both the client and client databases.
-Need someone punctual, reliable, and dependable.
-This person will be responsible for managing the inventory and orders, experience required/
-Customer service skills required.
-May be asked to assist loading/unloading vending machines in the warehouse.
-May be asked to assist with receiving and other duties in facility as needed.
-Will lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted.
-Steel toe shoes required.
-Dress code: pants/khakis (no shorts). T-shirt or polo/collared shirt.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse, inventory counting or delivery, experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
Relevant experience should include:

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Works to ensure the accuracy of shipments to the customer.
* Assist with the VMI customer space/placement, sets up the appropriate area to receive shipment of material and stocks product in the customer’s designated area.
* Follows the customer order through from pick-up at client’s warehouse/DC to delivery and set up at customer site.
* Takes customer spot buy orders when needed and relays the information to the CSR or AR.
* Recommends changes to the customer inventory levels based on usage.
* Ensures that bar code labels are up to date and legible for scanners to read and advised management when new barcode labels are needed.
* Scans barcodes at customer site to generate customer orders.
* Maintains awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity and reports observations back to managements.
* Assist in the annual inventory (cycle) counts on consigned
* Presents information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and managers.
* 5S all VMI Point of Use areas.
* Performs other duties as requested.
