Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking an Associate Account Manager to work on commerce and shopper marketing initiatives in servicing one of our largest client in the consumer packaged goods sector, namely within the food and beverage space. The Associate Account Manager performs a crucial support role on the team and should be flexible, proactive, responsive and organized. You will establish excellent working relationships and learn about our industry by asking questions, seeking new experiences, and subsequently building your knowledge base.
What you’ll do:
Learn and develop | You will develop clear, accurate, and timely reports assessing current COVID trends in local markets, mitigation strategies, and vendor requirements to safely and successfully activate live events.
Own communications | Proactively reach out to Account Supervisors and Account Executives to pull performance data, create and assemble reports, and manage necessary follow-ups with other agency departments, WPP partner agencies, and vendors.
Prioritize | Drive the account’s logistical planning, preparation, and execution of client meetings in the agency. Work closely with the broader Facilities, IT, A/V and administrative team to ensure a seamless client experience.

Detail-oriented | Has an eye for the details; checks and double checks any work, especially final deliverables for perfect accuracy. Rigorously applies Client corporate identity and brand guidelines to all materials. Ensures all creative work is reviewed by the legal team prior to being presented.
Ego-less | We all wear the hats that need wearing- it’s a mentality that makes the team successful.
What you’ll need:
1-2 years of advertising agency experience, or relevant internships
Shopper marketing or commerce experience a plus. Walmart Connect experience extremely valuable
Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
A go-getter attitude – no task is too small
Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong problem-solving skills
Time management skills
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
