Who we are looking for:
As an Art Director Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Art Direction/Creative team in conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns across various platforms, including branded content, digital experiences and platforms, complete 360-degree advertising campaigns, and more. You will work closely with the Art Director and other members of the creative team to bring ideas to life.
What you’ll do:
Assist the Art Direction/Creative team in the development of creative concepts and campaigns
Work collaboratively with copywriters, designers, and other members of the creative team to bring ideas to life
Help to execute creative campaigns across various platforms, including branded content, digital experiences and platforms, complete 360-degree advertising campaigns, and more
Ensure that all creative output is on-brand and meets client expectations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in art direction and design
Attend meetings and presentations as required
Who you are:
Passion and desire to pursue a career in the creative field (art direction, advertising, visual communications, design)
Ability to think creatively and enthusiasm for creating great creative work
Team player mentality and a positive attitude
Ability to jump in and help however you’re needed
Sense of humor is a big plus
What you’ll need:
A portfolio of clever creative work
Strong design skills that turn ideas into impactful and meaningful work
Thorough knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
Knowledge in the Microsoft Suite
Understanding of typography, in print and screen media
Attention to detail in all aspects of design and production
General understanding of social media platform constraints as they impact digital design
Experience with video editing, photography, and studio production a plus
