Who We Are Looking For :
VML is seeking a Senior Account Manager over one of our largest global client partnerships in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. The Senior Account Manager will provide daily coordination between all departments of VML and all WPP partner agencies. You will effectively deliver full agency capabilities and solutions to local clients, establish local marketing priorities, assist in the development and execution of yearly plans, and implement steps to achieve deliverables for the agency and the client, both on time and on budget. Overall, the Senior Account Manager's role is to provide support to our clients in order to meet business goals, as well as lead the team to overcome business challenges.
This role will report to our stellar New York City campus in a hybrid capacity, with 4 days per week in office and remote flexibility one day per week.
What You'll Do :
- Collaborate | Participate in client activities, both on an as-required basis and in conjunction with agency-recommended or pro-active opportunities to increase brand knowledge, client culture immersion or business development.
- See the Big Picture | Responsible for maintaining, tracking, and assessing the budget allocated to the client for their marketing and advertising efforts
- Develop | Maintain awareness and knowledge of client programs and initiatives in order to educate the local community of all brand activity.
- Bridge the Gap | Provide data / measurement reports with analysis to help client identify trends and opportunities.
- Educate | Conduct training sessions with both small and large groups of clients as requested, and collaborate with account executive team to deliver best results.
- Translate Ideas into Action | Responsible for the accuracy and clarity of any written document, including creative and production briefs, conference reports and marketing plans, before submission to agency leadership and the client
- Build Relationships | Primary client, agency and partner contact for local operations. Assume responsibility as the team lead.
