Job Summary
The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can manage staff effectively, maintain high standards of service, and drive revenue through effective budgeting and revenue management practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong human resources skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting processes and revenue management strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and training staff in customer service excellence and hotel management practices.
- Handle guest relations effectively, addressing concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with sales manager to promote hotel services and special events to attract new guests.
