What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector position at VN Engineers, Inc.?
VN Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time seasonal Construction Inspector for a Pavement Preservation Project in the Greenwich area. This seasonal project will run from April through November.
Responsibilities will include:
- Inspect work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications
- Contract administration
- Report daily progress and prepare daily work reports
- Track and document quality and quantities of work performed
- Report and document construction problems and challenges in the field
- Other oversight responsibilities as assigned
Candidates must have at least one year of related experience, along with a NICET II certification or Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Candidates must be reliable and have strong written and oral communication skills. Candidate must also be able to work nights and weekends when required.
