Description
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse – Admissions to join our team. This role involves assessing potential patients, educating families about our services, and facilitating smooth admissions. The RN will collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team to ensure quality patient care.
Sign-On Bonus $5,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-admission assessments and provide program information to patients and families.
- Obtain consents, establish initial care plans, and document patient data accurately.
- Coordinate with physicians and the care team to arrange necessary services and treatments.
- Provide direct nursing care and educate caregivers on proper patient care techniques.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding patient assessments and care.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- RN license in Missouri and Kansas, with CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of acute care experience; home health or hospice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, including IV care, wound management, and catheter care.
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
