Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Triage to provide after-hours and weekend triage support. This role involves responding to patient calls, scheduling appropriate visits, and ensuring timely assessments and interventions. The RN will collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Sign-On Bonus $5,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle after-hours and weekend triage calls, providing support and scheduling necessary visits.
- Assess and reassess patients’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Coordinate with the care team, physicians, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide patient and family education to support self-care and symptom management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Missouri and Kansas.
- 1-2 years of recent acute care or home health experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
