Job Summary
VNA of Albany is seeking for an experienced and dedicated personnel for the Maintenance Coordinator position in our Albany office.
The Maintenance coordinator performs, plans, coordinates all building maintenance of the Agency to ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions of agency building including grounds and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs daily sanitation and cleaning tasks including but not limited to trash removal, office /bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, mopping etc.
- Performs routine repair work and other work of a general maintenance nature.
- Performs maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
- Responsible for moving office furniture and equipment as directed
- Coordinates all required building inspections with vendors
- Completes room set up for meetings, including arranging furniture as requested by the meeting organizer.
- Maintains positive working relationships with vendors, contractors’ employees.
- Responsible for maintaining VNA basement organized as directed by the Director of Human Resources.
- Responsible for snow and ice removal as directed.
- Responsible for security of the building as directed.
- Travels to satellite offices as directed.
- Must be available to respond to emergencies and weekends as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- Valid state driver’s license required Minimum two (2) years of maintenance experience required
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities
